BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA) PROGRAMME
The degree of BBA of CSJM University, Kanpur shall be conferred on candidates who have pursied prescribed course of study for six semesters spread over three academic years and have passed the examinations as prescribed under the relevant ordinances.
The BBA course is very useful for young boys and girls who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations in Arts, Commerce, Science etc. and are interested in this entry programme for management career. The course contents are designed in such a way that the BBA programme provides strong foundation for advanced MBA programme.

Viva Voce ExaminationEach paper in the BBA shall be of three hours duration and shall carry a maximum of 75 marks besides 25 marks for internal assesiment. The minimum pass marks in each individual paper (end semester and internal assessment combined ) shall be 35% and in aggregate 45%.
TOTAL NUMBER OF SEATS
The total number of seats available in BBA Programme are 60 out of which 30 seats are under normal category, 21 seats under payment seats and 9 seats under NRI/NRI sponsored category.
BASIS OF SELECTION
The students in B.B.A. Course will be selected strictly on their performance in the entrance test, group discussion and personal interview and the merit list prepared there upon. The marks of these are as under :
Written Entrance Test : 200
Group Discussion : 25
Personal Interview : 25
Total 250The candidates ranking highest in merit will be allotted seats under normal category and the other candidates will be offered seats under self supporting category i.e. payment seat. For NRI/NRI sponsored candidates there will be no written test, admission will be based in relative merit on the basic of academic index, group discussion and personality interview.
ELIGIBILITY FOR BBA COURSE
Intermediate or 10+2 from U.P. Board or other equivalent examination passed in Arts, Science, Commerce etc. Students appearing in Intermediate may also apply, subject to production of evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission.
M.B.A. TWO YEAR FULL TIME PROGRAMME
The two year full time M.B.A. programme aims to provide knowledge skill and values which develop confidence in the students to work at problems in the organisational framework. The modular design of the curriculum stimulates development of conceptual and perceptual skills. The contents are such that after a strong foundation has been built in basic disciplines, advanced work in particular areas come as a natural extension. Following training in core subjects students choose electives which along with project work and other assignments complete the degree requirements.

The objective of the first year is to build a strong foundation of management and its related disciplines. An overview of the various functional areas of management is also provided.
At the end of the first academic year, students undergo summer training for two months in a business organisation. Students are required to execute projects or do an study of indepth specific aspects of management in-depth and submit a detailed summer training report at the beginning of the second academic year.
The objective of the second year is to provide a detailed knowledge of major functional areas. The Institute follows a system of Major and Minor specialization. Over a span of one year in M.B.A. second year, each student studies four courses of major specialization area and two course of minor specialization area alongwith five compulsory courses. All these are divided into two semesters as under :

Winter Project : Besides the course work, during the final semester, the students have to submit a dissertation related to their major specialization area.
The same course structure is spread over three years (six semesters) for the Part-Time students.

The total number of seats available in MBA Full-Time Programme are 60 out of which 30 seats are under normal category, 21 payment seats and 9 under NRI/NRI sponsored scheme.
The admission to seats under normal category and payment seats will be made through UP Management Combined Admission Test (UPMCAT).
The admissions for 9 seats under NRI/NRI sponsored category will be made by the CSJM University, Kanpur. For NRI/NRI sponsored candidates there will be no written test, admission will be based on relative merits on the basis of academic index, group discussion and personality interview.
ELIGIBILITY
A Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) or P.G. in any discipline from a recognised University/Institutions. Students appearing in final year of graduation are eligible ,and provisionally admitted subject to production of evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission.
M.B.A. THREE YEAR PART-TIME (EVENING) PROGRAMME (FOR WORKING EXECUTIVES)
The three year M.B.A Part Time Programme is designed to develop conceptual knowledge and behavioural skills in students who continue to work in industry, government, financial institutions or other buisness organisations. The modular design of the course divided into six semesters builds a strong foundation in the basic areas of management and allows the students to specialise in their areas of interest. The programme has several streams of specialisation.

ELIGIBILITY
A bachelor's degree in any discipline form a recognised University/Institute. In addition, two years full time work experience at management level after graduation.
