SUMMER TRAINING

After completion of M.B.A. full-time second semester, every student is required to undergo a practical training for a period, of 8-10 weeks in an organisation of repute. During this period the student works on a specific project assigned by the organisation under the supervision of one of their executives. Guidance of the faculty members is also made available. However Summer Training Programme is not applicable for MBA part-time.

The summer training is sandwiched between the end of first year and the commencement of the second year. The duration of the training program is 8-10 weeks. After completing the assigned project, the trainees submit a comprehensive report on the project. The program also facilitates the students to widen their perspective with respect to career choice in their areas of functional specialisation and enables them to comprehend the complexities of corporate life, to apply theoretical inputs in practical situations and to under go self-analysis in their managerial capabilities.
